SSBR Units

SSBR, manufactured by anionic polymerization of styrene with butadiene in hydrocarbon selvent using an organic lithium initiator, has achieved rapid development in developed countries in virtue of abrasion and cold resistance, low heat build-up, clear tincture, less ash, high punityband quick sulfuration. With the popularization of radial tires, especially the development of new energy-efficient radial tires, the rubber used in tires has to satisfy more strict requirement of higt strenght, wet skid resistance and low rolling resistance, which normally consumes 10% to 20% of the fucl in the vehicles. Thanks to the combined featuies of wet sliding and rolling resistance, SSBR is the most suitable raw materials for all weather tire, and to satisfy the performance demand of high speed, safety, energy-efficient and comfort and subsequently becomes indispensable in production of radial tires and high performance tires, which feature in low rolling resistance, outstanding wat skid resistance, good abration resistance and less heat build up. Currently SSBR has been used in the production of 80% sedan tires in America and most tire treads in Japan and the West of Europe.

In shoes making industry, due to its characters of good roller operation, calenderability, abration resistance and high filling, SSBR is widely used in the production of the goods with bright colors, comfortable touching, clear pattern without color mixed up, medium strength and without transshape.
